Policies, Terms & conditions

Payment Policy

  • A deposit of one night's accommodation (room and taxes) will be taken at the time of booking on the credit card provided to secure your reservation.
  • This credit card will be used for payment as outlined in this policy; and must be presented with valid Government-issued ID upon check-in. 
  • During the Peak Season (June 27, 2024 – September 14, 2024 & June 26, 2025 - September 14, 2025) full payment for the entire stay will be taken 14 days prior to arrival.
  • During the Non Peak Season (March 1, 2024 - June 26, 2024 & September 15, 2024 - June 25, 2025) full payment for the entire stay will be taken 48 hours prior to arrival.

Accommodation Taxes and Fees

  • PST (Provincial Sales Tax) = 8%
  • GST (Goods & Services Tax) = 5%
  • MRDT (Municipal & Regional District Tax) = 3%

Arrival & Departure Policy

  • Check-in time: 4:00pm  Check-out time: 10:00am
  • Upon check-in guests will be required to present valid government-issued photo identification and a valid credit card; registered hotel guests must be 19 years or older.
  • Upon arrival a credit card pre-authorization of $250 per stay will be processed for possible damages, smoking and incidentals.
  • Debit cards may only be used for incidentals.
  • Check-out prior to the confirmed reservation check-out date will result in the full payment of the entire stay, including taxes.

  • You will always find the guaranteed lowest rates for Lakeside Villa Inn & Suites on our official website. Feel confident when you book directly with us, knowing that you’re guaranteed the Best Available Rate for your stay. If you do find a lower published rate prior to – or within 24 hours of – booking your accommodation, please give us a call. We’ll honour that confirmed lower rate.

Cancellation Policy

  • Failure to cancel within time frame specified below will result in a fee equivalent to the booked length of stay (room and taxes): 
  • Peak Season (June 27, 2024 – September 14, 2024 & June 26, 2025 - September 14, 2025): Lakeside Villa allows a cancellation with full refund up to fourteen (14) days prior to your arrival date.
  • Non Peak Season (October 1, 2023 – June 26, 2024 & September 15, 2024 - June 25, 2025): Lakeside Villa allows a cancellation with full refund up to 48 hours prior to your arrival date.

housekeeping Policy

  • Lakeside Villa does not provide daily housekeeping service, however a towel/linen exchange and amenity replenishment is available on request.

Non-Smoking Policy

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in any of our guest suites and within 10 metres of the main building. (applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name.
  • A $250.00 deep cleaning fee will be charged for non-compliance.
  • The backyard oasis area has a designated outdoor smoking section.

Pet Policy

  • Pets are not allowed at Lakeside Villa Inn & Suites 

Parking Policy

Standard Vehicle

  • One standard vehicle parking is available per reservation. If you require additional parking for a second vehicle, please contact us directly


Trailers & RV's

  • No trailers (of any kind) or RV's are allowed. Our parking lot is too small to accommodate (sorry!)


Electric Vehicles - Level 1 charging

  • We have 2 parking spaces available with a standard plug (120V) for trickle charging. Please contact us prior to arrival for availability.

Kitchen Room Policy

  • Please practice safe cooking habits, do not leave burners on unattended. Please do not cook with strong smelling ingredients. Lingering smells that require room closure and deep cleans will be charged a cleaning fee of up to $250

Guest Safety Policy

  • As part of our commitment to guest safety, employees will not disclose the identity, room number or presence of a guest to anyone other than appropriate law enforcement. This includes the taking of or delivery of messages or indirect forwarding of phone calls. It is the responsibility of guests to communicate their presence and room number to any person they wish to receive calls or visits from. 
  • Safety cameras are used throughout the premises and anyone on our property may be recorded. 

Crib & Extra Bed Policy

  • Cribs and extra beds are not available at this property.
