Tubing down the Penticton channel is one of those rare free activities. As many as 100,000 people a year inflate their floaties and head to the start of the channel. The channel is a flood control system used to regulate the level of Okanagan Lake, so at the beginning of the summer season, you can travel from one end to the other in about an hour. Later in the season it can take as long as 4 hours as water flows are reduced.
If you stay with us, you can borrow a floatie.
We can take you to the start in the fun van, then it’s only a 10 minute walk back to the motel along the beach.
